We have installed an innovative new camera system on our Hunkeler Variweb in our Accrington site. This camera has been specially designed to allow us to view a range of light frequencies and expands our capability and product offering. We can now run Pressure Seal forms to reels, which was previously outsourced, and gives us more options to develop our Ecoseal range of one piece mailers.

The system from Tecscan had to be installed inside a specially designed cabinet, which helped image capture both with the slack web nature of the Hunkeler as well as cutting out any visible light contamination.

Our already very successful ‘Reveal’ product will be one of the first to benefit, as we look to supply this on reels, albeit with a slight configuration tweak, and our peelapart product where existing requests for reels can now be satisfied.
